The Education Freedom Scholarship window lasts roughly two weeks each January. The ESA Pilot window of September 1 to October 15 is for second-semester entry. The IEA window is expected in February 2027. All programs are administered through Student First Technologies.

How do I know which program is right for my family?

Do I pay anything up front?

Where Aristotle supports Direct Pay, no: your ESA pays Aristotle directly through the program portal. Other programs use reimbursement, meaning you pay first and submit documentation for approval. We will confirm which method applies before you enroll.

What paperwork does Aristotle provide?

Everything your program requires: itemized invoices with the student's name, service dates, and subjects covered. We also provide progress reports and vendor approval documentation on request.

What if I have multiple children?

Each student's ESA funds are separate, so each student requires an individual invoice. We prepare these automatically when you sign up.

How is Aristotle different from ChatGPT or a homework app?

Tennessee runs three programs, all administered through Student First Technologies. The Education Freedom Scholarship is the state's new universal program, offering $7,530 across 35,000 seats (all reserved for 2026–27), primarily for private school tuition; the application window lasts roughly two weeks each January (tn.gov/education/efs). The ESA Pilot serves eligible families in Memphis, Nashville, and Chattanooga. Full-year 2026–27 awards are $10,093.89 in Hamilton County and $10,132.54 in Nashville and Memphis-Shelby County. Tutoring is eligible; the September 1–October 15 application window is for second-semester entry and provides half the full-year award (tn.gov/education/esa). The IEA serves students with specific qualifying disabilities at $7,000 to $12,800, with tutoring covered; the next window is expected in February 2027 (tn.gov/education/iea).
