At Aristotle, we believe that

Human potential is worth building for.

We’re building an AI tutor that helps students actually learn, ask better questions, and see what they’re capable of.

A letter from the founder

Jaiden Reddy, September 2026

People often ask: why are you building an AI tutor? Behind that question, usually, is another: why are you building educational technology?

To me, the answer is simple. So many of the world’s problems are anchored in our failure to educate, and to imagine what education could mean...

What we believe

Good teaching is hard. We’re working hard to solve it.

Understanding is the goal.

Our tutor helps students explain their thinking and work toward answers they understand.

Student: I always mix those up! Tutor: That’s super normal. Let me show you a fun way to remember it.

Teaching should respond to the learner.

We adjust the explanation, pace, and support as a student’s understanding develops.

Trust is part of teaching.

We build with responsibility to students and families, and prioritize the safety and wellbeing of families using our tutor.

We learn from the best

Kian is the founder and CEO of Workera, an adjunct lecturer at Stanford, and a founding member of DeepLearning.AI. He co-created Stanford’s Deep Learning course and the Deep Learning Specialization with Andrew Ng, and received Stanford’s highest teaching award. He believes great teaching should reach more people, and he advises Aristotle on pedagogical quality and research.

Our funding

Built for the long term.

We’ve raised $5 million to build Aristotle, with backing from True Ventures, Wicklow, and angel investors who believe in our mission.

Don’t just take our word for it

Aristotle helps real students build confidence.

“Aristotle really feels like a patient teacher who leads students toward the answer instead of simply giving it away. It gave the perfect amount of help to my son while guiding him to figure it out himself.”
